According to the Washington Post, covid-19 is spreading quickly, but it can be slowed if people practice “social distancing” by avoiding public spaces and generally limiting their movement. The best way to prevent more cases of coronavirus in the next few weeks, many experts think, is to eliminate potential opportunities for spreading, by preventing infected people from coming in close contact with healthy ones. Whether it means moving to online school or canceling concerts and other fun events, right now it is safest for people to stay home. Social distancing can be inconvenient, disruptive, isolating, frustrating, etc., but it can also be a great time to connect with Students and Professionals online.

CareerVillage.org is an online tool that you can use during these stressful times. You can ask any questions you may have about covid-19 and how this outbreak may affect the job market, summer internship opportunities or life in general. There are many professionals waiting to answer your questions and give you peace of mind.

We understand that this time can be overwhelmingly stressful and has caused a lot of uncertainty about the next few months, especially for Students. We don’t have all of the answers, but we want to be a helpful resource to you, as best as we can. So, while you are practicing social distancing to keep yourself and community safe, let us answer your questions! Visit CareerVillage.org to create an account if you don’t have one already, and start asking questions to Professionals who care about your well-being and want you to be successful.
